GOVERNMENT SERVICES - MOROCCAN BIOMETRIC PASSPORTS
A COMPLETE ELECTRONIC PLATFORM FOR ISSUING AND MANAGING BIOMETRIC PASSPORTS
Launched by the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, the project involves the implementation of a global solution that allows Moroccan citizens, residents abroad and Moroccan officials and diplomats to have biometric passports. It also manages temporary passports and interfaces with the systems of the Ministry of the Interior and the national printing house, Dar As-Sikkah.
The government wanted to have a tool allowing it to manage all services related to issued passports through a multi-channel platform available 24/7, and that would ensure the link between all administrations and ministries by centralizing all citizen information in a secure database.
